Welcome to the home of Clifton Beach Retreat. A purpose built timber and corrugated iron b&b set in tranquil bush and lagoon surroundings. Located within 20min drive of the tropical metropolis of Cairns and bordering the Great Barrier Reef, the only living thing visible from space, and the World Heritage Rainforest, Clifton Beach is ideally situated to ensure that your holiday in paradise is memorable for all the right reasons.
Clifton Beach is a quiet residential suburb situated 20kms north of Cairns nestled between Trinity Beach and bustling Palm Cove. There is a Coles supermarket, Pharmacy & shopping centre nearby and many local restaurants for your enjoyment.
	Clifton Beach Retreat is located 100 metres from the Coral Sea - a short stroll around the corner, one block back from the beachfront. There are two rooms available -the Blue room and tne Green room. They are semi self-contained air-conditioned spacious rooms with queen size beds, two seater lounge, fridge,TV, DVD,hairdryer, ensuite with toilet & shower, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities, built in safe, shared laundry and your own private balcony.
	There is an in ground swimming pool for your enjoyment set in the lush backdrop of Melaleuca trees (paper bark eucalyptus) which are the home of many native birds including Kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets, Ibis, Curlews, Honey- eaters and many more - a bird watchers haven. Also local walabies are visable in lagoon behind the retreat.
An undercover Barbeque area out near the pool will allow you to cook your own barbeque and enjoy the lush bush setting during the day or romantically by candle light at night.
	Clifton Beach is only a short distance from Cairns but is easily accessible to all the tours in the area as you can be picked up nearby to any of the many tours you would like to enjoy, including the Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda Train , Skyrail, white water rafting, hot-air ballooning and much more..
