Clifton Beach is a quiet residential suburb situated 20kms north of Cairns nestled between Trinity Beach and bustling Palm Cove. There is a Coles supermarket, Pharmacy & shopping centre nearby and many local restaurants for your enjoyment.

Clifton Beach Retreat is located 100 metres from the Coral Sea - a short stroll around the corner, one block back from the beachfront. There are two rooms available -the Blue room(overlooking pool, nearest to BBq area)and the Green room(overlooking bush& pool- great for birdwatching). They are semi self-contained air-conditioned spacious rooms suitable for two persons or a couple with a child.

Each non-smoking room has a queen size bed,(plus single trundle bed available),two seater lounge, fridge,TV, DVD,hairdryer,clock radio, ensuite with toilet, sink & shower, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities, kitchen fully equiped execpting stove, built in safe, shared laundry and your own private balcony. Newly added internet connections for your laptops available at a minimal fee.(smoking allowed outside only).

Your room rates $110 per room per night include a tropical continental breakfast daily- delivered to your room- self service.(or special rate of $99 without breakfast- self- cater.)

There is an in ground swimming pool for your enjoyment set in the lush backdrop of Melaleuca trees (paper bark eucalyptus) which are the home of many native birds including Kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets, Ibis, Curlews, Honey- eaters and many more - a bird watchers haven. Also local wallabies are visible in the lagoon behind the retreat.

Leaving from airport follow sign to Cairns- when you reach Cook Hyg- turn right towards Port Douglas Mossman signs- follow highway through several round-abouts heading north- after Kewarra Beach round-about, the next turn right is Clifton Beach- Rudder Street- our sign is on 1st corner. Follow road down towards beach- zig-zag through following B&B signs down Undine Street to Batt Street- left into Batt-at the far end you will see our sign.We are about 20 minutes north of Cairns driving.15-20 minutes from airport.
